Deadline to sign up for Theatrical Fencing Classes is TODAY
This 10-week course will cover basic footwork, cuts, thrusts and parries using the 16th century rapier. The focus of the course will be safety in performance, and will include discussions on the history of swordplay. By the end of the course, participants will be familiar with basic techniques of theatrical swordplay which they will utilize in a choreographed duel.
In the interests of safety, this class will be limited to 10 participants. No experience is necessary, and all weaponry will be provided.
What: Beginner-Level Theatrical Fencing class
When: Wednesdays from 7-8:30 p.m. starting October 12 thru December 14
Where: Invoke Studios, 970 Ft. Wayne Avenue, Suite C, Indianapolis, IN 46202
Cost: $150 / $50 non-refundable deposit due by October 5 to hold space (balance due first day of class)

About the Instructor
Eric Bryant has over 15 years experience as a student and teacher of theatrical fencing. A long-time assistant to Joe Daly at the internationally-recognized HB Studios in NY, Eric has also taught fencing at The Neighborhood Playhouse, Michael Howard Studios, The Red Barn Theater as well as privately.
