Thought this might help you get some feedback about the homepage, Joe.

Post your homepage suggestions here. Please use bullets to separate suggestions.

Don't know how much ability you to move stuff around on the homepage but here's what I think would look good as a repeat visitor/guest.

* Put a snapshot of the two auditions and performance calendars as the main components in the center of the page directly beneath the top navigation bar. (*edit: by snapshot, I mean the monthly view like you've got it now in the lower right corner)

* Move the current poll to the top right

* Move the User CP to the top left

* Add the Chat as an item in the top navigation bar

* Since we moved over, I haven't been using the recent threads on the homepage. I use the "New Posts" on the top bar.

Well I think that's it.. Hopefully I'm not the only arsehole who likes to give suggestions.

I agree with moving the calendar to the top

No... I like the suggestions honestly! Keep them coming!

I am working on getting multiple calendar's up and going but so far I'm getting no love from the developers who created the board.

As soon as I can figure out how to do it... I'm right there with ya!
For the meantime should I keep the audition calendar up... the show calendar... or the film audition calendar?

I think the other ideas are good too... let me think about them.

I like how you've shifted things around. Earlier each announcment had the post starters pick, who last replied etc and I kinda liked it. Any reasons why you changed it?
Oh...about your calender question, I think you should keep the audition one up as the main pic/icon...seeming it IS indy auditions.

Dane,

I had a couple of people say that they wanted easy and not too much info. Just kind of a snapshot.

I can add who started the thread etc. if that's what folks want. I'm trying hard to make this YOUR site... an by YOU I mean everyone.

It's a tough line to walk.
