Recognized as the Americana Music Association¹s 2005 "Instrumentalist of the
Year," WILL KIMBROUGH is is an accomplished producer and touring
singer-songwriter. Will produced Todd Snider's pivotal "East Nashville
Skyline" and has had songs recorded by several artists, including Jimmy
Buffett ("Piece of Work"; "Everybody's On The Phone"; "Hula Girl at Heart";
"Party at the End of the World"), Jack Ingram ("Goodnight Moon") and Little
Feat ("Champion Of The World"). He is also one of Nashville¹s most in-demand
session guitarists and has toured with the likes of Rodney Crowell, Todd
Snider, Kim Richey, Josh Rouse and others.
Join us for an intimate afternoon as Will brings his expertise and
experience in the craft of songwriting to the new SONGWRITER SESSIONS series
of professional songwriting seminars in the greater Indianapolis area.
During this two-hour session, Will Kimbrough shares his tricks-of-the-trade
on the art of songwriting in general as well as specifics of getting beyond
writer's block, what makes a song complete, staying true to your own voice
and preparing your songs to pitch to others. You'll also hear Will perform
select tunes and share the story behind the song. There will be an open
question-and-answer format.
