    Jack
    By Mike Kenny

A creative and updated telling of the classic story of a boy and a beanstalk, Jack takes us on that well known journey into the clouds, where he encounters a whole new world - a world inhabited by a hungry giant and his wife. As the story unfolds, we learn about growing up with a bully without becoming one, about parenting, and about a boy’s dreams.

Exclamation A Character Break-Down Request Fulfilled

    Hello AI,
    long time no post...

In this 5 member cast we have:

Jack (male) Young, idealistic, more clever than folks realize. Both live performer and
    puppet operator.

Giant (male) Big (duh), the playwright uses imagery of an abusive husband and father.
This guy is none too bright, and helpless without his wife. (He is a full-sized "big bird"
style puppet 8+ feet tall which actor both voices and operates.)

Mrs. Giant (Female or Male ... think Miss Piggy) Cares for her husband far better than
he deserves. (She is a full-sized "big bird" style puppet 8+ feet tall which actor both
    voices and operates, as well.)

Mysterious Person (Male or Female) Purchases Jack's cow for magic beans. Ideally this person
should be able to play an acoustic instrument. Improvisation a plus. Omnipresent through the show.

Jack's Mother (female) A bit of a crank and doubtful that Jack will ever amount to much.
But, at the same time, she loves her son.
