FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Area Filmmakers to Premiere Film Shot in Anderson May 1. Anderson, IN - Colorfully Dark Productions, along with 3 O’clock Productions, will present the premiere screening of their feature length film Leach on Saturday May 1, 2010 at the Hamilton 16 IMAX theatre. Leach was shot in June 2009. The majority of the film was shot in Anderson, with additional scenes shot in Noblesville, Hartford City, Rochester, Fulton County, and rural Indiana. Several Anderson area businesses supported and/or appear in the film, including Allan’s Jewelry and Loan, Anderson Costumes, Inc., Backyard Broadcasting, Central Christian Church, City of Anderson Fire Dept., City of Anderson Police Dept., C.J. Boots Casket Company, East Side Lanes, Goodrich Quality Theaters, H&K Motel, and Lemon Drop Drive-In. Leach was co-produced by Colorfully Dark Productions and 3 O’clock Productions of Anderson. The film stars Anderson actor Jim Dougherty (Fire From Below, Scalene) as Wes, a recovering alcoholic, who finds himself thrust into a situation that threatens his life and the lives of his family. Also starring in the film are Thomas J. Smith (Brainwrap) of PA and Libby McDermott (Hannah Montana, Brainwrap). Many of the supporting cast members are from the Central Indiana area. Anderson area actors include James Copeland, Leland Franklin, Gemma Gould-Dougherty, Jim Hunter, Martin Stapleton, Johnathon Taylor, Rhonda Tinch-Mize, Tara Tremaine, and Rick Vale. Also appearing in the film are Randy DeFord, Raymond Kester, Mitch Ross, Adam Shephard, Larna Smith, and many extras from Anderson and surrounding areas.
