IA.com server upgrade: May 18, 2010 4:30PM

IND Technical Group will be upgrading the IA.com server starting at 4:30PM on Tuesday May 18, 2010. IA.com's new server is newer and faster with 1.5GB dedicated RAM (burstable up to 3GB), daily off-server backups, and hardware RAID 10... unlike the RAID 5 setup that became an epic fail this past weekend. (Long story....)

The upgrade should take less than an hour so go ahead, step away from your computer, grab some dinner, and talk to you family while we work to ensure your IA experience is better, faster, stronger... and more Joe-like.

Looks like the upgrade will not happen until a little after 5pm. We're waiting on some updates to finish installing on the new server.

10:51pm - Just finishing up some database connectivity testing. The server upgrade is complete.
