    AUDITION NOTICE



    The Lilly Theater at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis conducts auditions for their spring production…..


    The Frog Prince


    Hyronomous A. Frog

    WHEN:
    Saturday, January 8th, 2011 from 11am – 2pm
    By appointment only

    WHERE:
    The Lilly Theater @ The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis
    3000 N. Meridian
    Indianapolis, IN 46206

    WHAT:
    · All positions are paid.
    · Performance Dates: March 8 – April 17.
    · Rehearsals will begin in late January.
    · Most rehearsals and performances will be during the day.
    · Directed by Ty Stover

    WHO:
    · Must be at least 18 years of age to audition.
    · All types, sizes, genders and ages needed.
    · Bring a headshot and resume.
    · Provide a one minute humorous monologue.
    · Improvisational ability a plus.

    The Frog Prince
    CHARACTER BREAKDOWN
    HYRONOMOUS A. FROG
    a lonely, innocent and irrepressible frog

    GLORIA THE GOOD WITCH*
    a no nonsense, gruff, atypical good witch

    AUNT QUEEN BEA*
    Queen of Spamelot. An older woman who
    marches to a drummer no one else has met

    PRINCESS GLADIOLA
    Queen Bea’s niece. A bratty, privileged young woman

    DELPHINIUM
    Gladiola’s handmaiden. A kind, long suffering young
    servant

    SIR LANCELOT PANCELOT
    a pompous, self-impressed and rather stupid
    knight betrothed to Gladiola

    ARTHUR THE PAGE
    a dignified and loyal page to Pancelot who plays along with
    the pomp and circumstance, but knows better

    *GLORIA and AUNT QUEEN BEA may be double cast.
