MALE DANCER NEEDED!
paperStrangers Performance Group is seeking a young male dancer for their adaptation of the classical ballet Giselle. The male dancer must have extensive experience in dance technique(s), partnering skills, and improvisation.
The adaptation of Giselle focuses specifically on the relationship and story of Giselle and her Albrecht and what it means to die of a broken heart.
The cast comprised of one Giselle, an Albrecht, and four Willies.
PROJECT:
The rehearsal process will begin in late May and run through June in Indianapolis.
The performances will take place in Washington DC July 7 - 24 and Indianapolis August 19 - 28.
Travel and housing will be provided by the company. Personal expenses (i.e. food and toiletries) will be at the cost of the performer as well as initial cost of travel to Indianapolis for the rehearsals.
This is a paid gig!
