Actors Theatre of Indiana will be holding audition appointments for Equity and non-equity strong singer/actor/dancers for its 2012 production of GODSPELL by Stephen Schwartz and John Michael-Tebelak.

Where do I park? Do I have to pay?
The parking garage is located across from the south entrance to the Palladium, just off of 3rd Avenue SW. There is no charge for parking. See www.thecenterfortheperformingarts.org for garage location details. Click on "plan a visit."
Where do I enter?
The auditions will take place in the rehearsal room of the Studio Theater. Access to the backstage area is located through the double doors on the main level of the parking garage. Signs will be posted. If you park on a level higher than the first floor, take the elevator to the first floor, which will take you directly to the lobby of the Studio. Turn left and go down the hallway towards the parking garage entrance. Exit through the glass doors and turn left. Enter through the backstage double doors and sign in with the monitor.
Time(s):
10 AM – 12 PM Male & Female Singer / Actor / Dancers. A monitor will be provided.
12:30 PM – Callbacks (you may be asked to move, read / sing from the score / script).

Contract dates: Rehearsals begin Tuesday January 17 and are mandatory – scheduling will be assembled based on casting. Tech rehearsals are February 7, 8, 9, 10 - are mandatory, and are scheduled during the day and evening. Performance dates February 10 – 26, 2012 at The Studio Theater at the Center for the Performing Arts (Wednesday & Thursday performances at 7:30 PM; Friday & Saturday performances at 8:00 pm, Sunday performances at 2:00 PM, opening Saturday performance at 4 PM and 8 PM). Times and dates subject to change.
Contract:
AEA: SPT Tier IV
Non-Union: $150 / week
Seeking:
Male & Female Singer/Actor/Dancers.

Breakdown:
JESUS: Charismatic, engaging, natural leader, peaceful demeanor with access to anger through frustration. Vocal range: D - G#
JOHN THE BAPTIST / JUDAS: Jesus’ right hand man, “The man who would be king”, charismatic, headstrong and intelligent. Vocal range: A – D.
ENSEMBLE: This is a strong enemble show with excellent story tellers. All types (vocal ranges, ethnicity, appearance, size, physically challenged) are encouraged to audition. Seeking great Actors/Singers who move well and can create a terrific ensemble.
Preparation:
Please prepare two contrasting songs in the style of the show in the correct key with sheet music properly marked, and your picture and résumé stapled together. An accompanist will be provided. You may be asked to read. Those who are asked to come back to move/dance, please wear comfortable clothing.
