We are seeking a local personality for an eight month term in the Indianapolis, IN. area. for the RAW Indianapolis events.

WHO WE ARE: RAW:natural born artists is an indie arts organization that focuses on showcasing independent talent in film, fashion, music, visual art, performing art, hair & makeup etc.

RAW spotlights talent in local artistic communities on a monthly basis. RAW is a nationwide organization with city location showcases in 25 metropolitan cities across the U.S. and now we are looking for the best and brightest personalities in to serve as the 'face of RAW' and brand the new Indianapolis showcase location.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: RAW is now looking for an event host/hostess to help serve as the 'Face of RAW' in their community.
Do you have a larger than life personality? Are you used to working in a fast-paced environment? Are you a positive and energetic person? Do you have an insane amount of love for the arts? Can you make sure our artists are seen, heard and loved? Are you organized? Can you keep a crowd entertained?
Looking to build your recognition resume (for TV/RADIO/FILM) with RAW? Willing to give one event a month (for 8 months) all that you got? If so, RAW:natural born artists might be a fit for you.

We're looking for a professional individual with keen communication skills and an overall drive and passion for their work.

JOB DESCRIPTION: A local RAW Host/Hostess will be required to serve has the face and voice of RAW at the monthly RAW Showcases. The Host will be expected to be energetic fun and serve the objective of spotlighting each showcased artist in film, fashion, music, art, performing art, hair, makeup, DJs etc. The host will hype the crowd, communicate our brand and mission while informing and engaging the audience, each and every show. This job title is a great way to gain experience, build new relationships and meet the creative culture in your area. If you are looking to boost your resume in communications (perhaps in acting, tv, radio or film)- this position is perfect for you.

CONTRACT TERM: 8 MONTHS APRIL-NOVEMBER 2012 (one event a month)
PAY: Experience, college credit (where offered) and a glowing letter of recommendation, a $50 stipend per show plus commission on ticket sales
Contract may be renewed for an additional season, if work is satisfactory.
