Seems to me that any exhibit labelling itself Visual Fringe (with emphasis on the "FRINGE" part) should be able to weather some nudes in their display. Good thing they weren't there to judge Michelangelo's David, isn't it?

Maybe you should advise your partner to do something involving daisies and buttercups in an old teapot next time.

Bad treatment - sorry you had to put up with it.

Next: VERY EXCITED to be in The Angel City 4, "City of Angels", Buck Creek Players, opening June 7.

Thank you for all the comments and support. I don't blame the gallery or Fringe just the process. I think there is a change that has to be made so that people do not waste their time, gasoline, etc. My partner did not make these specifically for this event but he did pay for the frames, glass, etc. We have now made two trips there. I hope these two do get shown somewhere else. Two others of the series of nine pieces were in a show at a college in Oregon. Also, not everything he does has nudity in it. He will get over the disappointment but I hope there are no fireworks today when he goes to pick the second piece up. He can have a temper at times...as can I.

But, here is to a better experience with Fringe than this! I usually really enjoy it.

By the way if you would like to see some of Mike's other works check out his link: http://www.13waysoflooking.com/
(these do not include the ones in question but some of his others)
