We’re looking for some really good acts for CCP’s first ever, cabaret-style talent show to be held August 13th and 14th at 8pm and August 15th at 2pm. Depending on your act and availability, it’s possible for you to perform one, two, or all three shows!
What’s your talent?
Do you sing, play an instrument, tap dance, break dance, perform magic, juggle, do stand-up comedy or hold your breath for 15 minutes without passing out? Maybe you have a secret talent that you’ve always wanted to share but just haven’t worked up the courage? Well… here’s your chance to show us what you’ve got. If you’ve got game… bring it! We’re just going to have a fun time!
So, what about auditions?
Glad you asked! The auditions will be held on August 2nd and 3rd @ 7:00 at the Carmel Community Playhouse at Clay Terrace. The address is 14299 Clay Terrace Boulevard, Carmel, Indiana 46032. You can also check out http://www.carmelplayers.org. Come ready to perform your act(s) just as you would if this were the real deal. You’ll have approximately five minutes to audition. We’ll provide microphone and electric piano. If you play an instrument or plan on sawing a person in half, you bring your own guitar or saw (and something to clean up the mess!). If you have music on track, we do have equipment to play it for you.
Who can audition?
These auditions are open to any and all who want to perform on our stage. There’s no age limit, height limit, restriction on hair style, or any other criteria – just keep your act clean and family-friendly.
Why are we doing this?
This is a fundraiser for Carmel Community Players, and a chance to perform in front of all the family, friends, neighbors and co-workers that we know you’ll invite! And they’ll pay just $10 ($5 for seniors and students (with ID)) to see you do your thing!

While bumping this up, I thought I'd answer a few questions I've been getting via email:
1) This is not a Contest, this is simply a Showcase to show off your talents! :-)
2) We will have a pianist available at auditions and performance, but you also have the option of bringing your own pianist, playing it yourself, or using a CD Track.
3) As stated in original blast, if you can only perform one performance, or two, that is fine also.
4) If you can't make auditions, but are still interested in performing, contact me at IndianaTechie@yahoo.com and we'll see what we can make work!
